Some Aids to Christian Devotion

There are many dimensions to the Christian faith. There are the public communal events. These include the weekly worship service as well as other programs and activities that focus on fellowship, instruction in the Christian faith, and the community of God's people mobilizing themselves for mission. However, one dimension that is sometimes overlooked is the cultivation of personal piety and devotion.

While each believer must find the appropriate way to cultivate the Christian faith in their own personal world of prayer and spiritual reflection, we offer some samples of the resources available on the Internet to assist believers who are seeking to deepen their personal spiritual life. This list is not intended to be exhaustive but simply to provide a few examples of what is available. Many of these sites also offer you the option of having daily or weekly devotional material forwarded to you via e-mail.
