The Session of Alberton Church has decided to add up to two new elders and has established a Nominating Committee to begin the process. Sunday, May 19th.
This is Pentecost Sunday. In our worship service at 9:30 am we will celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit to the Church. We celebrate this not just as the anniversary of an event of long ago but as the mark of God's presence and power in the church today. We will also be continuing our "Something Extra" series (see details below) which will meet from 11:00 to 11:30 am.
Sunday, May 26th.
In our worship service at 9:30 am we will focus on what it means to be on the side of God in the world. How does God work in and through his people? We will also be concluding our "Something Extra" series (see details below) which will meet from 11:00 to 11:30 am.
"Something Extra" Twice a year we offer a series of "Something Extra" sessions that combine teaching and discussion. These sessions are held from 11: to 11:30 on the designated Sundays (so as to allow participants to share in worship at 9:30 and fellowship at 10:30 am as they usually do). The next "Something Extra" series will begin on Sunday, May 5th. and will focus on "Helps for Reading the Bible". The series will continue throughout May.
