Worship at Alberton Presbyterian Church

Our worship services in Alberton reflect our country roots. They are simple and informal in style without forfeiting dignity or abandoning the rich traditions of Christian worship.

We are not a large congregation. Current Sunday attendance is between thirty-five and fifty people. Younger children who are present at our worship services are invited to participate in a Church School program.

Music is valued as a means of both expressing and enhancing our praise. A typical worship service includes organ, piano, choral and instrumental participation. Those with skills in music are encouraged to share their gifts in our worship services.

The preaching aspires to be engaging and conversational in style and practical in its application of the Christian faith to every day living.

In worship we express our faith in prayer, praise and mutual encouragement. We value this opportunity to support one another in prayer even as we express our gratitude to God and remember the needs of our world, our country and our community.

Refreshed by the reading of the Scriptures and the experience of the Lord's presence the people of the Alberton congregation are then sent out into their community to live out the faith that they profess. In doing so we fulfill Alberton Church's Mission - "Reflecting God's Glory".
